OBITUARIES

Olaf Andrew Buland
Jan. 10, 1891, to Aug. 30, 1991

Olaf Andrew "O.A." Buland, 100, of Cambridge died of complications of pneumonia at Mary Greeley Medical Center, Ames.

He was born to Peder and Margaret (Ring) Buland at Cambridge and was a lifelong resident of Cambridge. He was the owner of the Buland Company and retired in 1944. On Easter Sunday of 1926, he married Queen Harrison, who preceded him in death on Dec. 16, 1979. On Aug. 10, 1984, he married Betty Slamka. He was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church of Cambridge and served on the Cambridge State Bank Board.

He is survived by his wife Betty of Cambridge.

Visitation was held Monday at Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cambridge. Burial was at the Cambridge Cemetery.
