THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Story County, Iowa, November, 4, 1926, page 1, column 4. "W. H. FACKLER DEAD. - W. H. Fackler, 74, died at 9 o'clock Monday morning at his home here and funeral services were held at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church. Mr. Fackler was injured Saturday, October 23, when he fell from the roof at the house his son, H. E. Fackler, had recently purchased and is remodeling. At first it was thought he was recovering, but later internal injuries developed which caused his death. He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Chas. Thompson, of Cambridge, and two sons, Harry and Charles, of this place."
