Death Thursday Of Ruth C. McDonald
Ruth Cessna McDonald, 61, wife of C. W. McDonald of the Iowa State college Extension service, and a long-time member of the Iowa State College Extension faculty, died at 6:30 last evening in the Iowa Methodist hospital in Des Moines. Death was due to a heart attack following an illness of acute asthma.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Adams Chapel in Ames Rev. Murray Allan of the Ames Congregational church officiating. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. K. M. Beardshear of Salinas, Calif., Mrs. R. J. Martin of Honolulu, T. H. and Janet at home. She also leaves two brothers, Karl B. Cessna and Ralph Cessna of Nevada and one sister, Mrs. Hazel Cessna Keimig of Denver, Colo.
