Hold Final Services For Arthur H. Hill

Funeral services were held 2:30 Monday afternoon Nov. 29, at the Congregational church in Green Mountain for Arthur Hill, 84, who died Thanksgiving day at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Turner of Colo, after an illness of two weeks.

A 12:30 prayer service was held at the Turner home with Rev. Berreth in charge. The services were in charge of the pastor, Rev. Homer Doaks, assisted by Rev. Berreth, pastor of the Evangelical U. B. church of Colo. The music was furnished by a trio who used as their number "Safe In the Arms of Jesus" and "Face to Face." Burial was in the Green Mountain cemetery.

Casket bearers were Laurence Henninger, Leslie Henninger, Forrest Turner, Arthur Turner, Richard Hill and George Hill. The many flowers were cared for by Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hill, Mr. and mrs. Roscoe Phares and Mrs. Martin Gerke.

Mr. and Mrs. Hill closed their home last fall at Green Mountain and resided at the Turner home. Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. J. N. Turner, and one son, Charles Hill of Clear Lake. A daughter, Mrs. C. J. Henninger of Minneapolis, preceded him in death. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
