Bennethum was held at the United Evangelical church at Iowa Center Wednesday at 2 o'clock p. m., conducted by Rev. Frank Beam. He was laid to rest in the Iowa Center cemetery. Mr. Bennethum has been in failing health the past year and his death was no surprise to his many friends. His widow, four sons, George and Will, of Madrid; John, of Bayard, and Dan, of Maxwell, and one daughter, Mrs. Jennie Kitchen, of Iowa Center, survive him.
