Obituary printed on funeral card Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell, Iowa; "Ralph E. "Penny" Bell was born in Maxwell, Iowa on Feb 16, 1919. He was the son of Leroy Ernest and Jennie Mary (Whitney) Bell. Ralph graduated from Maxwell High School with the class of 1936. He served with the Army in WWII from 1943 to 1946. He lived in the Des Moines and Ankeny area for most his life. He was self employed in the auto sales business. His dealership on Broadway in Des Moines was known throughout the area. He also worked for many years with Ideal Auto of Des Moines. "Penny" was a member of the Waveland Park Masonic Lodge. He is survived by several cousins including Howard Bell of Ankeny. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother and his brother Edwin Bell." In Memory of RALPH EVERETT BELL born Feb 16, 1919 Maxwell, Iowa passed away 3 Jun 1994 Marshalltown, Iowa.
