Mrs. Bertha Jacobson Dead

Mrs. Bertha Jacobson whose home is four miles southwest of town, passed away on Tuesday, January 30 at the age of 85 years. The deceased had been poorly for several months and the end was not unexpected. Her husband Erick Jacobson died several years ago.

She leaves three daughters, Mrs. John T. Holm, Mrs. Lew Carr and Miss Emelia Jacobson and four sons John, Thomas, Bartel and Martin Jacobson to mourn her death besides numerous other relatives.

The funeral was held from the Bergen church on Saturday afternoon Rev. Smedal preaching the funeral sermon after which the remains were laid to rest in the Roland cemetery.
