Hold Final Services For Adam J. Kutter

Funeral services for Adam J. Kutter were held from the Avey Funeral home in Marshalltown on Wednesday morning, April 26, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. A. P. Meyer officiating.

Organ music was played at the opening and close of the services.

Many beautiful floral pieces and spiritual bouquets were given in his memory.

Pall bearers were Herbert Nowlan, Harley Davis, Thomas Carmody, William Peterson, Ralph Wooster and Jess Arnold. Interment was in the Riverside cemetery, Marshalltown.

Obituary

Adam J. Kutter was born in Sac City, Iowa on June 27, 1899, the oldest son of Fred W. and Lena C. Kutter. He passed away on Sunday, April 23, at the University hospital in Iowa City following an illness which hospitalized him on March 10. His wife had been at his bedside tor the past five weeks.

He grew to manhood in the Colo community and in 1925 married Mildred Bennet. To this union was born one son, Morris.

On Sept. 2, 1936, he married Madoline Snyder. Since then he had made his home in Marshalltown.

Surviving

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Madoline, daughter, Linda, son, Morris, granddaughter Teresa Lee, step-children, Addison and Dola Snyder, his father, Fred Kutter of Colo, and the following sisters and brother Mrs. Ross Sparrow of Zearing, Mrs. G. H. Nowlan of Colo, Mrs. Leighton Nolta of Brandon, Iowa, Mrs. Harry Knebel of Savage, Minn. and Fred Kutter of Minneapolis, Minnesota. His mother and one sister preceded him in death.

Relatives and friends attending services from a distance came from Minneapolis, Savage, Prior Lake, and Norcross, Minn., Lisle and Peru, Ill. and Brandon, Ames, Zearing, Colo, State Center, Rhodes, Albion, St. Anthony and Mitchellville, Iowa.
