MORFOOT FUNERAL THIS AFTERNOON

POPULAR YOUNG MATRON LAID TO REST IN CEMETERY AT AMES

The funeral of Mrs. Clarence Morfoot, who died so suddenly at a hospital at Rochester, Minn., Thursday evening, was held at the home, 725 J avenue, this afternoon at 2:30, after which the body was taken to Ames for interment in the lot of the Frick family, where her father was interred a few months ago.

The funeral was in charge of Dr. R. M. Shipman of Ames, former pastor of the Nevada Methodist church, assisted by Rev. Hugh E. Yost of Memorial Lutheran church, this city.

The house was filled with relatives and close friends, among them being local clubs and the O. E. S., of whcih she was a member.

The body of Mrs. Morfoot arrived here Friday night over the Rock Island, in charge of the husband and Glen R. Newton.

Mrs. Morfoot, who had been operated on by the Mayo surgeons ten days before, had been making very satisfactory recovery apparently and it was not until twenty minutes before she died, that the collapse came, without warning and claimed her life.
