Death of Former Resident

Martin B. Severson, a former business man of Roland, died at Fullerton, Cal., on Tuesday, Dec. 6, after an illness of a year with cancer of the stomach. The remains were brought to Jewell Saturday by Mrs. M. B. Severson and Albert Severson. Funeral services were held there on Monday afternoon.

Martin Severson was born on March 19, 1882, on a farm southwest of Jewell. On February 8, 1904, he was married to Miss Lulu Seymour of Randall. During the following years Mr. Severson was in business at Jewell, Roland, Dows and Gowrie.

He is survived by his wife, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Severson of Jewell and three brothers and two sisters.
