HOWARD TWP. PIONEER CALLED BY DEATH FRIDAY

Mrs. R. P. Sheffield, 74, one of the real pioneer citizens of the southwest Howard township neighborhood, died at her home near the Sheffield school house on Friday night, after a lingering illness. The funeral services were held at Story City Tuesday afternoon.

Transcriber note: She was buried in the Roland Cemetery, Roland, Story County, Iowa. Her marker reads: Mornilva P wife of Royal P SHEFFIELD 1847 - 1921.
