Miss Avalea Crosby and brother Elmo were called to Marshalltown Sunday by the death of their father Walter Crosby who died at the Deaconess hospital where he was taken Jan. 24 following an accident near Luray in which the oil truck in which he was driving tipped over and caused him serious injury. He is survived by four children Lowell of Marshalltown, Avalea, Elmo and Jean of this place. The body will be taken to Hubbard for a funeral service from the Methodist church at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Interment in the Hubbard cemetery.
