AGED MAN DIED AT GILBERT HOME
ANDREW THOMPSON HAD LIVED THERE FOR PAST 29 YEARS

Gilbert, July 13--Andrew Thompson, 85, for 29 years a resident of the Gilbert neighborhood, died Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ed Holmes, from complications incident to old age.The deceased leaves two daughters and one son, they being Mrs. Ed Holmes of Gilbert, Mrs. M. G. Hartman of Ames and Nels Thompson of Sioux City.
He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Lars Howland of north of Gilbert and Mrs. Ole Russel of Oakland, Calif.
The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon, with a prayer service at the house at 1:30 and the funeral at the Lutheran church at 2:00, with his pastor, Rev. Helmarck of Story City in charge. Interment will be in the Lutheran cemetery north of Gilbert.
