DIED.
In Nevada, March 22, IDA, twin daughter of John and Emleine Leffingwell, aged 2 years, 11 months, and 5 days.
"And art thou gone, my pretty babe?
Couldst thou no longer stay,
To cheer thy parents' weary steps
Through life's uneven way?"Yes, thou art gone from earth away,
No more with us to be;
Thy little smiles to us so dear,
We here no more shall see."Thy stay with us seemed but an hour
Ere thou wast called away
Into the Savior's arms, to rest
In realms of endless day"Ten fare thee well, my pretty babe,
Till we shall meet again
In that bright world where thou hast gone,
All free from sin and pain."SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Ida Leffingwell was the daughter of John Q. Leffingwell and Emeline Saunders.
