Services Today In Ames for Mrs. A. K. McBridge, 81

Funeral services are this afternoon at 2 p.m. for Mrs. A. E. McBride, 621 Clark St., Ames, a former Nevada resident. Rites are at the Adams Funeral Home in Ames and burial in the Nevada Cemetery. The Rev. Raymond Shipman will officiate.

Mrs. McBride died Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from a heart ailment at the age of 81. She was a life-long resident of Story county was born Feb. 6, 1878 in Nevada and was a member of the Nevada Methodist Church. she moved to Ames 32 years ago.

She is survived by her husband, A. K. McBride whom she married in 1897 in Nevada. Other survivors include a son, Harry L. McBride of Pierpont, S. D.; three daughters, Mrs. Roy Howell and Mrs. Harold Anderson of Ames and Mrs. Arthur Johnson of Aberdeen, S. D.; two brothers, Bet Lough of Nevada, Harry Lough of Cambridge; one sister, Mrs. Laura Pincombe of Nevada; ten grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Frank Kenneth in 1949.
