Byron L. Cooper died after a brief illness at his home in Collins January 2, and his funeral was conducted by Rev. Boren at the Christian church on Monday the 4th. His age was thirty-six years. He had resided at or near Collins all of his life, was a member of the firm of Cooper, Halterman & Co., and was highly respected. He leaves a wife (formerly Miss Rhoda Thompson,) and numberless friends to regret his early decease.
