Funeral Services for R. M. Le Fevre Held Last Week

Zearing, May 15: Funeral services were held for Ralph Melvin LeFevre in the Brouhard Funeral Home on May 7 at 2 p. m. in charge of Rev. C. L. Fuller. Carroll Bailey sang the hymns accompanied by Miss Mardean Joyce at the piano. Pall bearers were Willard Donahoo, Art Rash, John Gilmore, Al Lacey, Vernon Moon and Joy Pulley. Those from a distance were the son, Clifford of Seattle, Wash., and brother Marion and wife of Winthrop, Minn.

Ralph Melvin LeFevre, age 61, passed away at his brother's home near Zearing. His death was due to a heart attack which occurred at his place of business. He reached his brother's home shortly before his death.

He was born in Story County on Oct. 22, 1883, a son of Deye and Emma Le Fevre, and most of his life was spent in this county. On Oct. 10, 1907, he was united in marriage with Sephia Billington of Zearing. To this union four children were born, one daughter, Ruby preceding her father in death. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Moon of Marshalltown, and two sons, Clifford and Claude of the armed forces. There are also two brothers, Marion of Winthrop, Minn. and Harry of Zearing.
