WYNNE DICKEY DIED SUDDENLY

VETERAN SHOWMAN PASSED AWAY WHILE IN THE HARNESS IN WISCONSIN

Relatives in this city received a message Sunday saying that Wynne G. Dickey of Little Soo, had died very suddenly at an early hour yesterday morning, while with his show up in Wisconsin.

The body will be brought back to this city and taken from here over to Maxwell where the funeral services will be held and interment made on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00.

Mr. Dickey lived in Maxwell as a young man but for the past 25 years had been owner and manager of the Terry Uncle Toms Cabin company which had played over the north central states and in the south under canvass.

He had made a marked success of the amusement business and was widely known.

He leaves his wife and one daughter* who were at their beautiful country homestead near Little Soo at the time of the death of the husband and father.

Mr. Dickey was nephew of C. H. Dickey of this city and a cousin of B. S. Dickey.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Winfred G. Dickey married twice. He married (1) Sarah Elizabeth Clawson on 27 April 1893 in Cambridge, Story County, Iowa. They divorced 11 November 1903 in Story County. He married (2) Corrine Olson on 12 December 1904 in Woodbury County, Iowa. His daughter by his first wife, mentioned in the obituary, was Gwendolyn (Dickey) Mason, wife of Clarence Miller Mason.
