OBITUARY OF MRS. DAILY
Passing of Well Known Woman at Colo.
Special to the Journal.
Colo, Feb. 8--Mrs. James Daily who died at her home in this city January 29, was a native of County Kerry, Ireland where she was born in 18--. It was in 1869 that she came to America and located at Belvidier, Ill. where she was united in marriage to James Daily in 1885 and came out to Colo which has since bee her home. Her maiden name was Julia Sullivan.Mrs. Daily was a faithful member of the Catholic church and a very devoted wife, a kind and loving neighbor and friend. She was confined to her bed for nearly two years and during that time she was tenderly care for by her loving husband and his sister Mrs. L. Fitzgerald of Nevada. She is survived by her husband and a number of nieces and nephews besides other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church at 10 a. m. on Friday. Solemn high mass celebrated by Father Sullivan of Chicago assisted by Father Ring of Princeton, Ill. both nephews of the deceased and Father Nichols of Nevada.
She was laid to rest in St. Patrick's cemetery at Nevada. The relatives from a distance who attend the funeral were Eugene Sullivan of Hutchinson, Kan., Mr. and Mrs. John Sullivan of James, Wis., Mrs. Margaret Galvin Eugene all of Chicago.
The husband is critically ill at this time and sincere sympathy of the entire community is extended to him in his hour of sorrow and of physical suffering.
