Lee Edw. Sorenson Was Buried Monday

Funeral services for Lee Edward Sorenson, 16, who died at the Story City hospital late Friday, were held Monday afternoon at Pleasant Grove church with Rev. C. E. Lookingbill of Nevada in charge. Interment was in the Pleasant Grove cemetery. The following obituary was read at the service:
Lee Edward Sorenson was born in Franklin township, Story county on Feb. 7, 1917 and passed away after a brief illness, at the Story City hospital, Sept. 23, 1932 at the age of 15 years, 7 months, and 18 days. The boy had lived most of his life in Story county, only one year being spent in Boone county. He entered the first grade at Milford consolidated school, attending it until after he graduated from the eighth grade.
Lee Edward was baptized July 4, 1919 at Reverend Heimarck's home in Story City. During the few short years allotted him, he strived his best to lead a Christian life.
He leaves to mourn his death his father and mother, three sisters, Beatrice 18, Marie 11, Esther 9, and three brothers Richard age 5, John 3 and Arnold 5 months. He also leaves three grandparents and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his loss and sympathize and comfort his loved ones until once more they meet in Heaven.
