Obituary.

Died at his home in this city Monday, March 11th, 1895, of typhoid fever, George Albert Geenslit, aged 34 years and 7 days. The deceased was the son of E. G. Greenslit and wife and was born at Canton, Fulton county, Illinois, March 5, 1861. He was married at La Porte, Black Hawk county, Iowa September 16, 1894, to Miss Mary Allen Trost. He removed to Nevada about a year ago and died as stated above. He leaves a widow and one child eighteen months old, besides his aged father and mother who also resided with him. He was a young man of modest demeanor but of evident worth. He came to Nevada to engage in business as a baker and confectioner, which business apparently prospered in his hands, and he commanded sincere esteem. His funeral was conducted this forenoon at the Catholic church by Rev. Cooney, and he was buried in the Catholic cemetery. At the funeral besides the family and a great number of citizens, there were present his brother-in-law and sister, Mrs. and Mrs. C. E. Manville of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Greenslit's father, Peter Trost of La Porte.
