Patrick Meade
March 6, 1983, to Oct. 12, 2002

Patrick "Rick" Meade, 19, of Urbandale, died Saturday, Oct. 12, of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident in Ola, Ark.

He was born in Des Moines on March 6, 1983, to Dawn (Parrish) and John Meade and had live in the Urbandale area most of his life. He was an aviation technician with the Air Force for the past one-and-a-half years.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Dawn Meade and Rick Geppert of Urbandale; his father, John A. Meade of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Jason, of Hartford, Conn.; and his grandparents, Vonis Parrish-Lokken of Nevada, and Mary Lou and Carl Meade.

Services were held Friday, Oct. 18, at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home with burial at Linwood Cemetery in Boone. Memorial contributions may be made to the U.S. Air Force Aid Society.
