OBITUARY OF MRS. COREY.

Former Colo Woman Who Passed Away in Colorado.

Colo, July 30--The funeral services for the late Mrs. Reason Corey, 67, who died Friday at Colorado Springs, and whose body was brought back here for burial were held at the Colo cemetery in charge of the pastor of the local M. E. church, Rev. Ivan R. Mills and interment was made in the Colo cemetery.

Mary Catherine, daughter of Rev. A. W. and Sarah Gilchrist was born near Greensburg, Ind. Nov. 15, 1856, and passed away at her home in Colorado Springs July 25, 1924, at the age of 67 years, 8 months and 20 days.

She moved with her parents to Colo, Iowa, in 1865. On November 5, 1876, she was married to Reason J. Corey. To this union three children were born, Albert M. of Marshalltown, Ia., Frank V. of Sioux City, Ia., and Mrs. Mable Teasley of Glasco, Kansas.

Their home was near Colo until the summer of 1908, then several years was spent in the south and west for Mr. Corey's health. In 1908 they located at Colorado Springs where she passed away after a lingering illness.

There are left to mourn their loss, the husband, three children, also one sister, Mrs. Nancy Lewis of San Pedro, California.

Mrs. Corey was a charter member of the Royal Neighbors, Cui Bono Camp, 1057, of Colo, Ia.

She united with Methodist church at the age of nine years and remained faithful to her God through all these years.
