Interesting Items Gleaned From Various Sources Concerning Story People

Slater.--News: Peter Rohney died at hes home in Slater last Monday night after about two months' illness from Brights' disease. Mr. Rohney was among the old settlers of this vicinity and had lived upon his farm southeast of town up to last fall when he moved to town. The funeral took place this forenoon and the services were conducted by Rev. C. G. Gjerstad, pastor of Lutheran church. He was buried in the Slater cemetery. He leaves a wife, three sons and a daughter to mourn his son.
