The past winter Mr. Hand took sick and was confined to his home more or less. Heart trouble, asthma and dropsy set in and he grew gradually weaker. About two weeks ago he had a fall which nearly cost him his life and hastened the end. Since that time he was confined to his bed suffering more than we know.
