Earl Waymond Moore, 84, of Colo, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019, at his home.
A celebration of Earl’s life will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at the Twin Anchors Golf Course Club House in Colo.
Earl was born February 24, 1935, in Aurora, South Dakota the son of Walter and Esther (Wetzel) Moore. He graduated from Artesian High School. On November 9, 1957, he was united in marriage to Bonnie Jean Ryan. Together they lived in Dundee for a few years, then Geneva, IL eventually settling in Colo. They operated Twin Anchors Campground for 22 years, adding Twin Anchors R.V. Sales & Service and Twin Anchors Golf Course. Earl enjoyed hunting, fishing and animals. He also liked to travel.
Earl is survived by his children: Lynn (Ken Mareck) Moore of Minneapolis, MN, Lori Butler (Scott Lovrine) of Madison, WI and Donald (Bobby) Moore of Nevada; his brother, Howard (Myrna) Moore of Artesian, SD; his sister-in-law, Rayburn Moore; his grandchildren: Sydney Byers and Samuel Eggers; and two great-grandchildren: Blane and Cal Byers. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his brother, Mel Moore; and a sister, Marge Bechon.
Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada is handling arrangements.
