OBITUARY OF ZETHA BAKER.
Zenorville Child Was Called By Death.
Special to the Journal.
Zenorville, Nov. 14--Zatha Irene Baker was born on September 14, 1915 at Ogden and died November 2, 1921 aged 6 years, 1 month, 19 days. She was the daughter of Harry and Anna Baker who reside six miles east of Boone. The first three years of her young life were spent in the Ogden vicinity, where she was born, and the remaining years at the home where she died. Zatha was taken sick two weeks ago with a sore throat which later developed into scarlet fever. She suffered intensely the last week of her illness even to the very last. She leaves to mourn her loss her parents and one brother besides numerous relatives and friends. The funeral was held from the Prairie church Friday afternoon, Nov. 5 at 2:30 p. m. E. L. Frost pastor of the Central Church of Christ Boone officiating. A quartette composed of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Sawyer, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Brown sang "Beckoning Hands," and "It is Well With My Soul." Miss Lucille Sawyer sand "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam." The pallbearers were Misses Dora and Hazel Adix and Ruth and Gladys Engstrom. Burial was in East Linwood cemetery in Boone. A tribute to Zatha from her school teacher, Louis Thorson, she attended Jordan consolidated school:Our dear little Zatha has gone they say
For the Angel of death came around this way
And took the dear girl we all love
Up with him to God's heaven above.
