Chris Boe Died At His Home In Story City Today

Special to the Journal:
Story City, Jan. 24--Chris B. Boe, 85, long time resident of this community, died at his home here at 2:00 a. m. today, after an illness of about a week.

He had lived in Story City for 22 years, moving here from his farm west of town, near Rosendale.

Mr. Boe was a native of Norway, Europe, coming to America when a lad of 18 years.

His wife is dead but he leaves a number of sons and daughters. They are Mike and Ole Boe, Mrs. Henry Jacobson and Mrs. J. M. Gertson, all of Story City; Mrs. Henry Bordal, Mrs. Ed Bordal and Lewis Boe, all of Lake Preston, S. D., an Mrs. Annie Clevelena of Arlington, S. D.
