ISAAC N TOWNSEND

Isaac N. Townsend, 87, of Nevada died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1981 at the V.A. Medical Center, Des Moines.

He was born May 17 1893 in Belle Plaine, Ia., the son of Charles S. and Mary B. Mitchell Townsend. He attended the Nevada schools and was retired from the C. and N.W. Railroad.

He was a member of the First Christian Church, Nevada.

Mr. Townsend is survived by two sisters, Mary Sowers of Nevada and Pearl Deal of Ames. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Robert, killed in W.W. II.

Funeral services will be held Friday Feb. 27, 1981 at 1:30 p.m. at the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, with Dr. William Bass officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
