Mrs. Joe Sesker Dies in Hospital After Long Illness

Mrs. Joe E. (Beulah) Sesker, 68, West E Avenue, Nevada died in the Story County Hospital Saturday at 8:20 p.m. She had been ill for the past eight months with cancer.

She was born at Monroe, Iowa, April 19, 1892, a daughter of Robert and Mae Marshall. On Feb. 27, 1920, she was married in Nevada to Joe E. Sesker. She had been a resident of Nevada the past 18 years.

She was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church and of the Woman's Auxilliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

The body will remain at the Ryan Funeral Home until the time of the funeral service which will be held from Memorial Lutheran Church, Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Victor Hackbarth will officiate. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

Surviving are the husband, Joe E. Sesker, two son, Doyle M. Sesker of Chicago and Hollis Carter of Everton, Mo.; two daughters, Mrs. Joan Mills of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Bette Strum of Roland. She also leaves 10 grandchildren.
