A dispatch announces that Mr. John Turtle died recently at Portland, Oregon, and that his remains will be brought to Nevada for interment in the family burial lot. Mr. Turtle was reared in Nevada, and went from here to the war for the Union. Subsequently he resided in Marshalltown and Idaho, but for many years his home has been in the city in which his death occurred. His age was 54 and he leaves a wife and six children.
