Death Today of Mrs. Edith McClintock
Mrs. Edith McClintock, 706 Seventh street, 81, died at 5:25 a. m. today in the Story county hospital where she had been for the past two weeks. Death was due to infirmities of age.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p. m. at the Ryan Funeral Home with the Rev. Kohl of the Nevada Christian church officiating. Burial will be in the Maxwell cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Thursday between the hours of 2 p. m. to 4 p. m. and 7 to 8 p. m.
Mrs. McClintock was born Aug. 24, 1871 on a farm near Maxwell, a daughter of Jesse R. and Juliet R. Wood. She had been a lifetime resident of Story county. Her age was 81 years, 11 months, and 26 days.
She was unite din marriage to L. W. Stone, Sept. 29, 1892, whose death occurred April 11, 1926. On June 27, 1928 she was married to F. W. McClintock who passed away Dec. 26, 1944.
Surviving are the sons of Carl E. Stone, Nevada, H. W. Stone, Chicago, Ill., and Jesse R. Stone, La Crescenta, Calif., and the daughter Mildred; Mrs. Lee W. Cook of Nevada.
She also leaves the following grandchildren: Harry Cook, Nevada, Marjorie Stone, Chicago, Ill., Edward Stone, Evanston, Ill.; Marian Kistler, Reading, Pa. and four great grandchildren. She also leaves one sister, Anna King, Oakland, Calif., age 90 years.
