STORY CITY WOMAN DEAD.
Funeral of Miss Sand Was Held Yesterday Afternoon.
Special to the Journal.
Story City May 6.--Miss Inga Sand, whose death occurred May 1, 1912 at Des Moines, was born at Chicago June 21, 1879. When she was about a year and a half old her mother was called to the great beyond and Inga and Thea with their father, moved to Roland, and later to Story City. Here their father died and the two girls made their home here until three years ago when they took a claim in Colorado. Shortly after Easter Miss Inga, who has never been very strong, was taken sick and it was necessary to go to some place where medical treatment could be received more conveniently, so they went to Des Moines where her death occurred. She leaves but on sister, Thea Sand, who will keenly feel the loss of a kind and loving sister. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from the Bethel church, Rev. Paulsrud officiating. Interment took place in the Fairview cemetery. The church was very beautifully decorated with flowers and plants.
