Mrs. Fannie Robison Laid to Rest In Nevada Cemetery
Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie V. Robison, who passed away Saturday at 6:30 p. m. at her home, 135 K avenue, Nevada, where she had lived for 14 years, were held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Ryan Funeral Home with the Rev. James D. Ransom of Central Presbyterian church officiating.
Mrs. F. W. Cowgill played as organ numbers "Good Night and Good Morning" and "Lead Kindly Light.
The pall bearers were Glen R. Newton, Harold Tipton, C. F. Wilson, Howard Schultz, C. L. Gifford, and Gilbert Henry.
The flowers were arranged by Mrs. L. E. Davisson and Mrs. Mabel Menzel.
Rev. Ransom read as part of the funeral service, the following obituary:
"Fannie V. Emery, daughter of Dr. Johns and Dorothy Emery was born Oct. 15, 1867 at Elkhart, Iowa. Her childhood was spent near Elkhart and State Center and she received her education in Des Moines.
On Oct. 19, 1887 she was united in marriage with Charles A. Robison in Des Moines. For many years they made their home on their farm south of Nevada. For the last 14 years her home has been in Nevada, where she spent her last days-- and passed away Saturday, May 24th. She had suffered from various ailments and accidents for several years, but her alert mind and happy disposition were not affected.
Mrs. Robison was a charter member of the D. A. R. member of Order of the Eastern Star, the Evangelical church, the Leisure Hour Club, and the D. of U. V.
Mrs. Robison was preceded in death by her husband in 1933. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Hazel Abrams of Nevada and by many lifelong friends and neighbors.

Maxwell of Maxwell, Boyd Maxwell of Des Moines, Marguerite Slaughter of Des Moines, Isal Burr of Des Moines, Sorority sister of Mrs. Abrams, Mrs. Dan Johnson of Carlew and Verne Verneman, Des Moines.
