Obituary
Sarah C. Robinson was born March 24, 1867 near Marabile, in Caldwell county, Mo., and passed from this life on Nov. 21, 1951, at the age of 84 years, seven months and 27 days, at the Story County hospital in Nevada, Iowa.
Aunt Sally, as she was affectionately called by her friends, was the daughter of James H. and Mary A. Browning. Her girlhood was spent on a farm a few miles from the place of her birth.
She was married in her youth to Isaac Robinson of Cameron, Mo. Mr. Robinson proceeded her in death.
She was for about 11 years a member of the Christian church. In 1903, after hearing the doctrine of Christ preached by Elder Walter W. Smith, she was baptized a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, her life was a living witness of the testimony she received at the waters of baptism.
For 30 years she was a quiet, unassuming but honored citizen of Nevada. Aunt Sally is survived by a brother, Elzie Browning of California; five nieces, four nephews and many friends who will miss her and who this day gather here to honor her and pay their last respects.
