AGED STORY CITY MAN DIED SUNDAY

AGED MAN HAD LIVED THERE FOR SIXTY YEARS--NATIVE OF NORWAY

Story City, April 6--Mikkel B. Larson, 86, died very suddenly at his home here Sunday evening at 5:30, death being due to hardening of the arteries and other complications. He had been ill for about a month.

Definite arrangements for the funeral services have not been made.

Mr. Larson was a native of Norway, Europe, where he was born December 16, 1844. He was eleven years of age when he came to America with his people.

He was united in marriage to Christina Studvik, in Clinton county, May 20, 1872, and moved to Story county and settled on a farm south of Story City, the same year. There they continued to make their home until 1911, when they moved into Story City where the wife died in 1928.

He leaves two sons, John Larson of Elmore, Minn., and Curnie Larson of Story City. Also four daughters, they being, Mrs. Albert Jacobson and Mrs. Arthur Boyd of Story City, Mrs. Joseph Hoferstein* of Roland and Mrs. Waltin Olson of Grand Mound.
