Services held Monday for Fred K. Larson, Nevada resident
NEVADA - Fred K. Larson of here died Saturday morning at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Zearing where he had been a resident for the past six months. He was 87.
Funeral services were held from the Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada on Monday at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Walter E. Lack officiating. Burial was in the Nevada Cemetery. A memorial fund for Larson has been established.
Born May 16, 1889 in Nevada to Chris and Christina Larson, he had been a farmer and was a resident of Story County for his entire life. He was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church.
Larson is survived by one son, Henry Larson of Nevada, two daughters, Mrs. Margaret (Lloyd) Fosseen of Radcliffe and Mrs. Myrtle (Glen) Hankins of Nevada; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; three brothers, Pete Larson of Nevada, William Larson of Nevada and Albert Larson of Canoga Park, Calif.; and one sister, Mrs. Annie Paulson of Ames.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and his wife, Emma, in 1974.
