CHRIS LARSON DIED SATURDAY MORNING
HAD LIVED IN COUNTY FOR MANY YEARS AND WAS WELL KNOWN.
Funeral services for the late Chris Larson, 79, who died at his home, corner Third and Avenue I, at an early hour Saturday morning were held from Memorial Lutheran church this afternoon at three o'clock, by Rev. Fred Ross Schirck, after which interment was n the Nevada cemetery.
Death was due to paralysis due to complications with uremia, from which he had suffered for the past several years. Mr. Larson had lived in and near Nevada for a great many years and was a man most favorably known by those who had come in contact with him.
The funeral services were attended by the aged wife, the four children as well as step children and other relatives. The children are Mrs. Harrison Huntrod of this city, Mrs. S. B. Nordskog of Marshalltown, Lewis Larson of McCallsburg and C. C. Larson of Des Moines. The step children are J. C. Jessen of Story City, Jesse Jessen of this city, Mrs. Martin Malmanger of near McCallsburg and Miss Emma Jessen now of Chicago.
