Last Rites For Mrs. Isaac Hope Held At Bethel Church
Funeral services for Mrs. Isaac Hope were held Nov. 14 in Bethel Lutheran Church, Story City at 2 p. m. with Pastor Quentin Quanbeck officiating.
Mrs. Bert Stensland, organist, accompanied the vocalists, Mrs. Homer Olson and Mrs. Raymond Romsey. Burial was at Story City Municipal Cemetery. Casket bearers were L. C. Richardson, Herman L. Olson, Orville J. Olson, Elmer Olson, Lars Kalvik and Arthur Goodmanson.
Obituary
Anna Malene Hope was born in Namdalen, Norway on July 24, 1888. She came to this country in 1903. She was confirmed in the Lutheran Church in Madison, Minn. On Oct. 12, 1912 she was married to Isaac Hope in Des Moines. Mr. and Mrs. Hope celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at Bethel Lutheran in Story City in 1962, where she had been a member since 1913.
Mrs. Hope died at her home in Story City Nov. 11. She is survived by her husband, Isaas and many nieces and nephews.
