ERNEST DUTTON IS DEAD IN CALIFORNIA

FORMER IOWA BANKER PASSED AWAY FRIDAY--LEFT NO CHILDREN

O. E. Dutton, 78, former banker at Manning and brother of the later J. G. Dutton of this city, died at his home at 714 Sorrano avenue, Los Angeles, Friday afternoon at 2:30, according to word reaching his relatives in Nevada.

Mr. Dutton was the eldest of the three Dutton brothers, of whom O. J. Dutton of Grand Junction is the only one left. Jay G. Dutton died at this home in Nevada September 17 of last year.

The brother from Los Angeles, who had been here but a few weeks before the death of J. G., was also back this spring for a brief visit.

His wife is still living and with her at the time of his death was the sister, Mrs. F. H. Conner and Dr. Conner of this city, who had recently arrived in Los Angeles, after some time spent farther north on the Pacific coast.

Mr. Dutton had lived and been in the banking business at Manning but had lived in California the most of the time for past twenty years.

While definite word has not been received it is probable that the funeral and interment will be at Los Angeles.
