DEATHS

Funeral services for Mrs. Arthur Goodmanson were held from the Bethel Lutheran Church, Story City, at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, Pastor William A. Gregerson officiated.

Organist was Mrs. Myron Smuck and Raymond Romsey and Mrs. Homer Olson sang a duet.

Susan Goodmanson, 79, was born April 18, 1889, in Story County, to Lars and Sarah Raymond. She was united in marriage to Arthur Goodmanson on December 23, 1913. The couple farmed in this area until thirteen years ago when they retired and moved to Story City.

Survivors are her husband, Arthur, a daughter, Mrs. Oreas (Martha) Boe, and a son, Duane, all of Story City; one brother, Lewis Raymond, of Portland, Oregon; and five grandchildren. One grandson, her parents, and six brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Goodmanson passed away Saturday night, November 9th at the Story City Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient one week.

Interment was in Story City Municipal Cemetery. Pallbearers were Arthur Holland, Eugene Raymond, Virgil Raymond, Clarence Miller, Raymond Sande and Sterling Sande.
