Last Rites For Emil Anderson, 81, Sunday Afternoon

Last rites for Emil Anderson, 81, who passed away Jan. 12, were held at the Ryan Funeral Home, Sunday, Jan. 14, at 2:30 with Rev. A. Russel Hagen of the Nevada Seventh day Adventist church officiating.

Two songs, "In the Garden" and "Beyong the Sunset" were snd by Mrs. Glen Davenport and Mrs. A. Russel Hagen. Mrs. Otho Kirk was accompanist.

The casket bearers were Frank Arnett, H. G. Biggers, Albert Olesen, Roy Ramesbothom, Lester Wiley and Donald Williams.

Obituary

Emil Anderson, son of Johanna and Andrew Anderson was born in Boras, Sween on January 12, 1870, and passed to his rest at his home in Nevada, January 12, 1951 on his 81st birthday.

When he was 19 years of age, he came to America and made his home in Libertyville, Ia. He was united in marriage to Amanda Johnson on January 19, 1901 and to this union one son was born.

In 1895 he united with the Seventh-day Adventist church and remained a faithrul member until the time of his death.

Eleven years ago he moved to Nevada to be near his son and family and he spent many happy hours working in his garden as long as his health would permit. He was a kind and loving husband and father.

Surviving him are his wife, Amanda; one son, Elmer; one granddaughter, Elaine; two nieces and one nephew of Aurelia and other relatives in Sweden.

He is now resting in the blessed home until the life-giver calls him on the resurrection morning.
