Obituary

Mrs. Anna K. Anderson

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna K. Anderson, 93, Story City were held at Grace United Methodist Church at 1:30 p.m., Monday, January 10 with the Rev. Paul H. Beckman officiating. Mrs. Dorrel Doolittle was organist, and accompanied Mrs. Charles Jewell sho sang, "How Great Thou Art" and "Have Thine Own Way, Lord."

Casket bearers were Leslie Jacobson, Lloyd Ritland, William Petersen, Arthur Fish, Elmer Jensen and Audley Moulin. Burial was in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Anna K. Anderson, daughter of Andrew and Kristin Peterson was born March 4, 1883, in Lafayette Township, west of Story City.

In 1905 she was united in marriage to Lauritz P. Anderson and to this union, two sons were born, Everett and Roscoe.

Mrs. Anderson was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church, Story City. She was a member of the its United Methodist Women and the Council Class. She is survived by her two sons: Everett V. Anderson of Story City and Roscoe P. Anderson of Radcliffe; one sister, Mrs. Henry (Minnie) West, Story City; four grandchildren six great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, three brothers and one sister.
