Dan Johnson Dead Funeral Service Monday Afternoon

Special to the Journal:
Story City, Dec. 24--Daniel Johnson [sic], 79, longtime well known figure in Story City died Thursday evening at 9:30 at the Catherine Amlund residence, where he had made his home since coming to this country from Norway when a young man.

Johnson [sic], never married, operated a wagon-making shop here for years, or until the time there was no further need for such work and from that time on had been connected with the Amlund Electric shop, where he looked after the lawn-mowers and kindred work which he was able to do.

Funeral services will be held Monday with prayer at the Amlund home at 1:30 and the funeral proper at St. Petri Lutheran church with his pastor Rev. S. T. Nelson in charge. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery.
