Former Nevada Man Died in Missouri; Body Brought Here

Wm. C. Hardy, 80, former resident of Nevada, died late Wednesday at his home at Indpendence, Mo., of heart trouble and other complications.

The body will arrive in Nevada Friday at 12:50 a. m. over the Rock Island and be taken to the Bishop funeral home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:00 at the Latterday Saints church, with Rev. Harker of Ames in charge.

Mr. Hardy, who lived in Nevada for many years prior to moving to Missouri about ten years ago, leaves his wife, one son, George H. Hardy of Lindsay, Mont., a daughter, Mrs. Carrie Airhart of Rodman, Iowa, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Three children of Mr. and Mrs. Hardy preceded the father in death. One daughter died at the age of 16, another son met a tragic death in a gravel pit near Nevada and another son at the age of 6 years.
