Rose M. Pohl dies Thursday morning, services here Saturday

NEVADA--Mrs. Rose M. Pohl of Oak Park Manor Nursing Home here, died Thursday morning at the Story County Hospital. She was 81.

Services will be held Saturday, October 11 from the Central Presbyterian Church at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Gehrald A. Riesen will officiate with burial in the Nevada Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established for Mrs. Pohl. Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home after Friday morning.

Born September 9, 1894 in Potosi, Wisc. to John and Mary Brade, she had been a Nevada resident for the past 46 years. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church and belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. June (Marion) Link of Nevada and Mrs. Helen (Alan) Goodyear of Redwood Falls, Minnesota; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Carroll Brade of Marysville, Washington and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Greiman of Garner and Miss Marva Brade of Garner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters and one son, Marusice Hanson, who died in 1970.
