Jolene Hodnefield, age 54, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018, at Rolling Green Village in Nevada, IA.

Jolene Kay Hodnefield was born April 28, 1964 at the Story City Hospital. She was the eldest of three children born to Jerome and Sharon (Kothenbeutel) Hodnefield.

She was baptized and confirmed at the Zion Lutheran Church in rural Radcliffe. Jolene had a strong Christian faith and a God given gift to show love for her fellow man.

She received her education by attending Radcliffe Community School where she graduated with the class of 1982.

Jolene was home with her parents until 2002 when she became a resident of Rolling Green Village in Nevada.

She loved artwork. Jolene did calligraphy and sketch work and spent time on the computer. She enjoyed the puppies that were raised on the farm. She and Joel loved to watch football together especially the Vikings. Jolene served on the Centennial Committee at Zion Lutheran Church.

Those thankful for having shared her life include her parents Jerome and Sharon Hodnefield who are residing at Rolling Green Village in Nevada, Iowa; one brother Joel and his wife and two nieces Kaylee and Emma Hodnefield all of Boone, Iowa.

Jolene was preceded in death by her brother Jason.
