Borghild Alsager Is Dead At Age of 73; Services on Tuesday

Mrs. Borghild Alsager, 73, died Saturday Oct. 23 at 5 p.m. at the Story City Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Alsager was born March 18, 1892 in Indre Arne, Norway. She lived in Story City since coming to the United States in 1925.

She was married to Olai Alsager in 1925.

Mrs. Alsager was preceded in death by her husband who died in 1954.

Survivors are a son, Charles of Des Moines, five grand children, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City. The Rev. Harold T. Masted will officiate. Burial will be a the Story City Municipal Cemetery, with Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The body ill remain at the Funeral Home until noon, Tuesday.
