Former Nevada Woman Back Here For Burial

The body of Mrs. A. L. Foote, who died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. E. Klump, at Blue Earth, Minn., arrived here Monday night and was interred in the Nevada cemetery Tuesday forenoon, after services at the Bishop Funeral home, in charge of Rev. L. E. Watson of the Methodist church.

The body was accompanied by the daughter, Mrs. Klump and husband, the son M. W. Foote of St. Paul and his wife, the daughter-in-law, Mrs. Frank Foote and son of Mason City and others.

Margaret Eliza Noble was born near Greencastle( Indiana, March 28, 1847 and passed from this life November 19, 1927, aged 80 years, 6 months and 21 days.

She lived in Indiana until sixteen years of age, when she moved to Iowa and engaged in teaching, being one of the pioneer teachers in the Marshalltown schools. While here she met and married Albert Lyman Foote, and to this union was born two sons, Frank, whose death occurred two years ago, and Merle W. of St. Paul, Minnesota; and one daughter, Mrs. C. E. Klump of Blue Earth, Minn., with whom she made her home since the death of her husband seven years ago.

Fourteen years ago the family moved from Iowa to Minnesota.

The other near relatives who live to mourn the loss of a loved one, are five sisters and three brothers, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

During her early life the deceased was an ardent church worker, but in her later life was confined more to her home where she was ever ready to help any one--even the stranger within her gate. She was in truth a help meet to her husband and her children rise up to call her blessed.

Others from a distance who were here to attend the funeral services were J. H. Noble of Chicago, a brother of deceased, W. J. Kennedy of Ankeny, Carl Kennedy of Des Moines, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moore of Hazelton, Rev. Horace Foote of Hazelton, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Foote of State Center, Mr. and Mrs. George Fanton of Marshalltown, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Foote of Dillon and Carrol Foote of Chicago.
