Killed and Wounded.

The battle of Nashville was more damaging to us than was at first reported. Our losses in the actual fight will equal those of the enemy in killed and wounded. But in ---- sad results we are far ahead.

We learn from a private letter from Lieut. Tomlinson of the casualties to soldiers of Story county. Nathaniel A. Tichenor, Company K, 32d, was mortally wounded and has since died. He received his wound while nobly facing the fore in defence [sic] of his country's integrity, and thus adds another to the long list of martyrs in the cause of Liberty.

Nathaniel Cole, also of the same Company, was wounded in the same fight. We learn that his wound is not a severe one, and his recovery is pretty certain.
